Swimming Stars™ International Levels and Certificates
Swimmers are initially placed within a level according to age, ability and prior swimming experience. During the first lesson placement will be evaluated.
The FOCUS is on the SWIMMER within a specific LEVEL and NOT on the instructor.
All instructors are equally trained and work according to the global Weekly Goals based on the Individual Level Evaluations.

This is well researched, documented and proven educational level approach to the acquisition of aquatic survival abilities.
• Swimmers are initially placed within a level according to age, ability and prior swimming experience.
• During the first lesson placement will be evaluated.
• Progression Stages are measured according to Skills Mastered at time of evaluation
• Ages may vary.
Within this systematic approach the individuality of each swimmer is respected and evaluated based on the aquatic abilities specific to each level.
Swimmers are motivated through play as the main method of acquiring new knowledge.
Swimmers are rewarded for progress through quarterly evaluations, encouraging them till they qualify for a new level, thereby receiving..
a new coloured Swimming Cap as well as a certificate!

FLYING STAR (GREEN)
Approximate age: from 6 years old keep improving their skills in all strokes as well as learning butterfly full stroke, developing stroke techniques for all 4 competition strokes, competition turns and starts.
Class ratio: up to 8

ALL STAR (LIGHT BLUE)
Approximate age: from 7 years old keep improving their skills in all strokes as well as learning butterfly full stroke, developing stroke techniques for all 4 competition strokes, competition turns and starts.
Class ratio: up to 10

SWIMMING STAR (ROYAL BLUE)
Approximate age: from 8 years old keep improving their skills in all strokes as well as learning butterfly full stroke, developing stroke techniques for all 4 competition strokes, competition turns and starts.
Class ratio: up to 10

ADULTS & CONDITIONING (BLACK)
Approximate age: from 13+ years
I: Class ratio: up to 6
II: Class ratio: up to 12
Swimmers that train for competition purposes will have the full benefit of Elite Coaches as well as highly trained support staff.

NOTE – VIRGIN ACTIVE swimmers at these levels are regularly assessed and if ready invited to join Players Swim Competition Squad.
